Bio
Ryan, a native to the Pacific Northwest, feels most at home in NYC, but (usually) lives in Barcelona and gets away from it all at his sprawling vineyards and winery in Priorat, Spain. His Aussie Shepherd, Barley, rarely leaves his side and is the true definition of a Velcro Dog (or maybe it's the other way around?) He originally wanted to be an astrophysicist, but switched to software engineering after figuring out how slow academia moves.

Born and raise in Hawaii, Nikki has been slowly moving her way west via Oregon, Washington, New York, London, and most recently Barcelona. She is a wine enthusiast and studies winemaking and vineyard management by night. Her family includes two Australian Shepherds, four chickens, a garden, and many, many grape vines (hopefully one day an alpaca and sheep).

After a decade of auditing and running agencies, Nikki has developed a superpower: instantly understanding any system or process thrown her way (the messier the better). At Beta Acid, Nikki is in charge of client happiness and basically all the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps the place running (accounting, legal, HR, and whatever else mysteriously lands on her desk).

With two decades of experience turning ideas into working systems across industries including banking, logistics, insurance, legal, and digital security, Marconi brings a rare mix of hands-on engineering depth and leadership perspective. He began his career as a network security engineer before turning to software development and system architecture, working with more technologies than most people care to count. As an engineering manager, he focuses on problem-solving, mentoring engineers to reach their full potential, and ensuring that we get shit done - and delivered.

His involvement in the product journey spans from planning and discovery stages to high fidelity interface designs. Prior to working as a designer, Daniel was an investigator and consultant, conducting research and working on fraud and compliance matters in New York.
